I regret to inform you that Australian politicians have gathered at Parliament House to listen to Jordan Peterson deliver a speech on “a renewed classic liberal/conservative vision.”

Politicians from the Liberal, National and One Nation parties attended the speech, which was delivered by the man who spruiks a meat-only diet and a whole bunch of transphobic bullshit on the daily.

For those unfamiliar with Peterson, he’s a right-wing psychology professor who is most famous for his book 12 Rules For Life — which is basically a manifesto for the most annoying men you’ve ever encountered.

Peterson was invited to give the speech at Parliament House by Nationals Senator and the world’s biggest coal fanboy Matt Canavan as part of his wider Australian speaking tour, proving that they truly let anyone into Parliament these days.

Throughout the speech, which I did not attend on account of wanting to preserve what little brain cells I have left, Peterson reportedly “encouraged political leaders to fight for a coherent agenda of cheap energy, local environmental protection, holding up the nuclear family as the ideal and encouraging individual responsibility.”

Attendees included Canavan, as well as former Prime Minister Scott Morrison, Barnaby Joyce, Pauline Hanson, Malcolm Roberts and Andrew Hastie, among others who — apparently — have nothing better to do.

Peterson took to Twitter to share a photo with Scott Morrison after his speech.

His speaking tour comes after Peterson sensationally quit Twitter earlier this year after being roasted for claiming that a literal Sports Illustrated cover model wasn’t beautiful.

As was to be expected, this grand exit did not last long and he is now back on Twitter. At this point, I am literally begging men to log off the bird app once and for all.
