Queer Eye’s Jonathan Van Ness Had The Most Pure And Joyous Reaction To His Emmy Nominations

Jonathan Van Ness is pretty chuffed to be nominated at this year’s Emmy awards. And by pretty chuffed we mean absolutely fucking beside himself.

The Queer Eye grooming specialist, along with the rest of the Fab Five, learnt on Thursday that their show had been nominated for four Primetime Emmys, including Outstanding Structured Reality Program and Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program. But Van Ness got an extra nom, for his Funny or Die Game of Thrones recap series Gay of Thrones, and it’s safe to say that he was a little bit overwhelmed by the news.

“I can’t stop crying when I think about it,” Van Ness has since told E Online. “It means so much to me.”

“I can’t remember the last time I’ve cried so hard. I’m so excited.”
