Jax Jones On His Most Outrageous Party Story, Involving Zedd, Vegas, And A Jet

Most of the time, life as a musician isn’t what movies have led us to believe — it’s more stuffy tour vans and shitty hotel rooms than it is showers of Dom Pérignon. But occasionally, those dreams do come true.

At least, if you’re dance hitmaker Jax Jones, they come true. Jones was recently in the Music Junkee studio for his go at the Artist Alphabet, and he recounted the story of how superstar producer Zedd spontaneously took him to Vegas on his private jet.

“I flew to America to perform with Zedd on his tour, and we wanted to celebrate so we were planning to go to Vegas. But where we were…to get to Vegas was some long thing. But Zedd was playing there that night so he was like ‘Why don’t you come on my jet bro?’

“So we jumped on the jet, and we flew into Vegas and landed ten minutes from the club, went straight into OMNIA and hung out with him while he DJ’d.

“After this we went to the penthouse at NOBU…there were just like loads of girls, but I was with my wife so it was all good. And it was just like…twenty four hours ago I was in England playing a gig supporting Zedd, now I’m on the jet, now I’m in Vegas.”

Jones ended up staying in Vegas a few more days, where he “fucking nailed” the roulette table. Watch the full interview below.
