The Terrifying First Trailer For ‘It Chapter 2’ Is Finally Here
Can't sleep, clown will eat me.
Everyone’s favourite murderous clown is back for round two, and he’s got some very famous faces for company. More than a year and a half after It tore it up in cinemas, we’ve finally gotten our first look at the star-studded It Chapter 2. And yep, it looks fucking terrifying.
It Chapter 2 takes place 27 years after the events of the original film, and sees the now-adult members of the Losers Club return to their home town of Derry for a final confrontation with Pennywise the Dancing Clown. In this teaser, we see Beverly, now played by Jessica Chastain, visit her childhood home and have tea with its new owner, an old lady who, I’m sorry, is clearly Pennywise in disguise. I mean really, who talks like that??
We also get a brief glimpse at the rest of the Losers, including James McAvoy as Bill, Bill Hader as Richie, and Isaiah Mustafa, aka The Man Your Man Could Smell Like, as Mike. Also balloons. Lots and lots of balloons.
It Chapter 2 hits cinemas on September 5.
