Disney Have Dropped Key Info About ‘Incredibles 2’, Say The Film Will Focus On Elastigirl
"Leave saving the world to the men? I don't think so."
Disney’s massive biennial convention, the D23 expo, is happening right now in Anaheim, California, and fans are absolutely frothing over the studio’s slate of upcoming projects. We’ve gotten fresh info about Wreck-It-Ralph 2, gorgeous new teaser posters for The Last Jedi, and finally learnt who’ll be playing Aladdin in the upcoming live-action remake.
Oh, and they also screened a secret trailer for Avengers: Infinity War, which sounds absolutely incredible.
Still, more exciting than any of that (in my not so humble opinion) are the new details about the studio’s other long-awaited superhero epic: Incredibles 2.
According to Pixar’s chief creative officer John Lasseter, the sequel will pick up just one minute from where the original film ended, and will see the Parr family do battle with the nefarious Underminer.
Meanwhile, director Brad Bird said that after the first movie focused mostly on Mr. Incredible, the follow-up will be all about his wife, Elastigirl. This has made a lot of people very, very excited.

The studio also released a video tribute to beloved character Edna Mode featuring appearances by a number of fashion icons, and also Kendall Jenner.
