As the saying goes: Not all heroes wear capes, but some do fly the American flag and stand in the middle of hurricanes head-banging to Slayer.

You might remember way back in 2016, an incredibly stupid  brave guy by the name of Lane Pittman went viral for standing shirtless in the middle of a street in Florida during Hurricane Matthew, waving the US flag and hair-flipping his way through Slayer’s ‘Raining Blood’. It was truly a moment.

He clearly thought he was onto a good thing because he decided to do it again during last year’s Hurricane Irma — heading out to the middle of a road in Jacksonville to battle the storm with the power of America’s second best thrash metal band.

And now, he’s done it again. Over the weekend, Pittman entered the fray in South Carolina to boldly faced down Hurricane Florence, which is currently sweeping across the southeast of the US. Once again, he took his flag, his luxurious ginger locks, and his ‘Raining Blood’, and proceeded to head-bang for his life.

Watch it all unfold below. Oh, it also goes without saying: please don’t do this at home. You’ll almost certainly get hit in the head by some flying debris.
