Time To Relive Your Youth: Double J Is Replaying The Full Hottest 100 Of 2000 Countdown

If modern music causes you to ball your meaty fist up and yell at the clouds or the kids on your lawn, then we have some good news for you: the Hottest 100 of 2000 is back.

From midday on Monday, January 25, Double J will be diving back to the dawn of the new millennium to play the full 2000 countdown in full.

If you can’t quite remember, this was the poll that was topped by Powderfinger’s ‘My Happiness’ — following up on their win from the year before with ‘These Days’ — followed by U2’s ‘Beautiful Day’ and Powderfinger’s ‘My Kind Of Scene’ at #2 and #3 respectively.

Elsewhere through the countdown were cuts from The Avalanches, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Magic Dirt, Machine Gun Fellatio, and The Superjesus. Most importantly though, Madison Avenue made it into the countdown at #99 with ‘Who The Hell Are You’.
