The First Full Trailer For HBO’s ‘His Dark Materials’ Is Here And It Looks Perfect
We cannot be any more hyped for this! Look at that bear!
If there’s one television show that’s predicted to take over from Game Of Thrones, it’s the upcoming HBO and BBC collaboration His Dark Materials.
The series is based off the bestselling and truly magical books by Philip Pullman, and revolves around an orphan named Lyra Belacqua whose world is turned around when she learns about Dust, a mysterious particle that’s connected to everything and everyone in the universe.
Lyra is played by Daphne Keen, who you might remember from Logan, which is brilliant casting. The rest of the cast is also pretty special, including James McAvoy (Dark Phoenix), Ruth Wilson (Luther), and Lin-Manuel Miranda (Mary Poppins Returns). I would literally chop my own finger off if Ruth Wilson asked me to, so, expectations are high!
