Lindsay Lohan made her much-anticipated appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman a few hours ago, the first TV interview she’s taken since November 2012 – and likely the last before she heads to rehab next month.

Lindsay, an infamous late-riser, managed to arrive early for the filming: “So you do owe Paul,” she laughed, implying the host had bet his bandleader, Paul Shaffer, that she’d be late.

The full interview hasn’t surfaced yet on YouTube, but the bit where Letterman relentlessly grills her about rehab sure has.

“Aren’t you supposed to be in rehab now?” he asks, before barraging Lohan with a series of similar questions:

“How long will you be in rehab?” (Three months”); “How many times have you been in rehab?” (“Several”); “What are they rehabbing? What’s on their list? What are they gonna work on when you walk through the door?” (“We didn’t discuss this in the pre-interview.”); “Do you have addiction problems?”  (“Now you sound like Dr. Phil.”)

“Do you drink too much?” he asks finally. “We’ve discussed this in the past,” she answers. Letterman, a recovering alcoholic, can’t remember this conversation: “Now I’m the one who’s having the black outs!” he says cheerfully. She laughs. “I’m just sayin’!”
