Hackers Reportedly Jammed Police Scanners In The US With ‘Fuck The Police’
Viral internet hit 'Chocolate Rain' was also used to jam communications over the weekend.
Hackers have reportedly been jamming up police scanners in the US with songs like N.W.A’s ‘Fuck The Police’ and Tay Zonday’s viral hit ‘Chocolate Rain’ in order to obstruct communication during the widespread protests across the country.
A source told CBS Chicago on Saturday that the city’s police department was having a hard time communicating with each other due to their radio frequency being overtaken by music. A number of videos have cropped up online, showing ‘Fuck The Police’ and ‘Chocolate Rain’ playing through the police scanners.

Some are suggesting Anonymous is responsible, as the hacker group returned to social media on Saturday to announce their solidarity with protestors across the country, shortly before ‘Fuck The Police’ blared out over the scanners.
We stand in solidarity with the protesters and revolutionaries fighting the US oligarchy, fighting the injustice of a massively corrupt racist system that has continued on for generations. #BlackLivesMatter

If the police can’t restrain themselves and are shooting reporters, kicking protesters, punching protesters, and engaging in violence – how can anyone expect the people to restrain themselves?

Protest have been raging in the US for a week, sparked by the death of 46-year-old black man George Floyd. Floyd was killed while in police custody last week,] after officer Derek Chauvin pressed his knee into his neck for a sustained period of time. Chauvin has since been charged with murder.
