It was only seven months ago that Gwyneth Paltrow learned she was in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

During the first episode of Netflix’s The Chef Show, Gwyneth was genuinely shocked by the revelation that she was in Spider-ManJon Favreau, Gwyneth’s Spider-Man co-star, tried to reminisce with her about their time on set, while discussing how the The Chef Show came about.

Confusing her appearance in Spider-Man with her work in Avengers, Gwyneth was sure she was never in the Spider-Man franchise. By the end, after some back and forth, Jon was finally able to convince Gwyneth by describing her exact scenes.

But somehow Gwyneth has managed to forget, again, that she starred in Spider-Man: Homecoming. You see, Gwyneth commented on a photo of Zendaya from the Critic’s Choice Awards, where Zendaya wore a Tom Ford breastplate.

“Thank God I can say I have something in common with Zendaya,” Gwyneth commented. Gwyneth was referring to the breastplate that she also wore for the February 2020 cover of Harpers Bazaar.

However, writer Ira Madison III replied to Gwyneth’s comment highlighting that the pair actually had a bigger link than a top. “Gwyneth… you’re both in Spider-Man,” he responded.

Thankfully, the interaction was caught by the @commentsbycelebs Instagram account, which gathers the best celebrity interactions on the app. The screenshot was then promptly shared to Twitter, much to the delight of anyone who knows who Gwyneth Paltrow is.

The acting gig that Gwyneth seems to constantly forget, of course, is the end scene of Spider-Man: Homecoming. Gwyneth’s moment of Spider-Man glory comes right after Tony Stark tries to gift Peter Park with the Iron Spider Suit. Gwyneth’s character, Pepper Potts, has a pretty big scene considering her and Tony Stark get engaged at a press conference and all. But yeah, totally forgettable moment for Gwyneth, I guess.
