Groovin’ The Moo’s Stacked 2019 Line-Up Is Here

Groovin' The Moo Festival

Regional delight Groovin’ The Moo is back for another year, and hot damn, we’ve got ourselves a line-up filled with a heap of international favourites, homegrown talent — and Coolio.

That’s right: ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’ rapper Coolio will be playing headlining Groovin’, which makes stops this April and May in Adelaide, Maitland, Canberra, Bendigo, Townsville and Bunbury.

No news yet on whether Canberra’s new venue will be able to hold a pill-testing trial, as per last year’s event, though it looks unlikely. Previously, it was possible as the festival took place on state-owned grounds at the University Of Canberra — the current venue is on federal land. UPDATE: Groovin’ organisers Cattleyard Production have clarified to Music Junkee that “while pill-testing has not yet been determined and is currently being discussed with all stakeholders, we strongly support harm minimisation strategies and would welcome the return of pill-testing at GTM Canberra 2019.”

Coolio will be joined by a heap of Hottest 100 heroes, including ex-pro surfer-turned house DJ Fisher, whose massive song ‘Losing It’ took the #2 spot this year. He’ll be playing alongside fellow Hottest 100 acts Thelma Plum, Jack River, Billie Eilish, G Flip, DMA’s and more.

As for international acts, Eilish Norway’s Aurora, Rejjie Snow and Denmark’s pop-siren MØ will be joined by a heap of US talent. In addition to Coolio, we’ll have Duckwrth, Flosstradamus, A$AP Twelvyy, TOKiMONSTA, Spinderella and more.

Spy the full line-up below. Tickets go on sale Thursday 31 January, 8am local time for Adelaide, Maitland and Canberra, then Friday 1 February, 8am for Townsville, Bendigo and Bunbury.
