Grimes Says She “Finally Got” COVID-19 And Is “Weirdly Enjoying” It

As COVID-19 spreads throughout the US at a current rate of 300,000+ cases a day, Grimes has posted that she has contracted the virus — but seems to be handling it pretty well.
Going off her Instagram story, the singer — also known as c, fka Claire Boucher — has a mild case of the virus, stating that she is “weirdly enjoying the dayquil fever dream”, alongside an emoji of a fairy and a screenshot of SZA’s latest single, ‘Good Days’, which she calls ‘sooooo [various moon emojis]’.

Grimes is no doubt in less of a sore spot than most Americans. With her boyfriend being the literal richest man in the world, Grimes likely has assured access to medical care should her case become more severe: most Americans are not so lucky, with hospitals across the country reaching breaking point.
No news on whether beau Elon Musk (or their eight-month-old child X Æ A-Xii) has contracted COVID-19.
