Hooray, We’re Getting A Third Season Of ABC’s Sci-Fi Horror ‘Glitch’
It's the third and final season of the show.
Hold on to your butts — Glitch Season 3 is officially happening. The sci-fi/ horror will hit our screens on the ABC first, then Netflix.
Cool genre shows aren’t exactly abundant on Australian television, and Glitch is a fresh breath of spooky sci-fi air. The first two seasons of the Logie and AACTA award-winning show were widely beloved and picked up from the ABC to stream on Netflix.
The show is basically about a weirdly sinister rural Australian town where the dead are coming back to life, but they aren’t zombies.
They’re sad people, who are baffled by their weird resurrection. Yay!
Filming is underway in Melbourne on Season 3, which is billed as the final epic chapter of the show. All we know about the new season is that the Risen are now able to leave Yoorana and move into the wider world, which is bound to have some sort of consequences.
Joining the established cast for Season 3 are newcomers Jessica Faulkner, Harry Tseng, Jackson Gallagher, Dustin Clare, Susan Prior and Anna McGahn.
Glitch Season 3 is airing on ABC in 2019.
