G Flip Announces They Are Non-Binary: “I’m Non-Binary Mother Fuckers!”
Congratulations to them!

Australian singer-songwriter, Georgia Flipo, aka G Flip has come out as non-binary via Instagram, writing, “that’s who I’ve been my entire life.”
In an adorable Instagram announcement tagged cheekily as “Gender Reveal Party.com,” G Flip announced that they’re non-binary and will also be using they/them pronouns from here on out. Oh, and they also made sure to rep their fave footy team too.
G Flip has evolved into somewhat of a young queer icon in the Aussie music scene over the last couple of years. They released their debut album ‘About Us’ back in 2019 to critical acclaim, including a string of hit singles like the queer love anthem ‘You & I’ last year.

Now, they have come out as non-binary. In their Instagram post uploaded on Sunday night, G wrote, “I’m still the exact same person, non-binary is just the best way to explain who I am and how I’ve always felt, like a gender smoothie….”
They also thanked the non-binary folks in their life for helping them realise who they are. “Big props to those who have been educating and advocating for the ENBY community the last few years,” G Flip wrote.
They also made sure to clarify their pronouns. They wrote, “Gonna use they/them pronouns from now on too.”
happy for G Flip but devastated to learn they're a magpies supporter.

Finally, they wrapped up their gender reveal with a shoutout to their favourite footy team…the pies. “Also go pies!” G finished.
Comments on their post are bursting with love and support from their peers in the Aussie music scene. Triple J presenter Bridget Hustwaite commented, “Go G,” and fellow queer musician, Alex The Astronaut wrote, “Superstar!” Comments also poured in from the likes of Gretta Ray, Jack River and Filous.
As a fellow “gender smoothie,” I offer my sincerest and queerest congratulations to G Flip. The enby community has gained yet another delightful soul.
