You might remember that a little while ago, Flume posted a short and somewhat bizarre clip of himself painted blue, seated in front of the computer, listening to Eiffel 65’s iconic track ‘Blue (Da Ba Dee)’.

The snippet appeared to suggest that the Sydney producer was in the process of remixing the track, and sure enough…that’s exactly what was happening. This morning, Flume released his official remix of the track, and it’s wonderfully batshit.

He’s retained the heart of the original track, injecting it with some quintessential glitchy Flume drops. Listen the track below, let’s hope we can get it on the dancefloor as soon as possible.

The remix follows the release of ‘The Difference’, his collaboration with Toro y Moi. Listen to that one over here, and while you’re at it, read our feature on the musical evolution of Flume.
