Drop Everything: Fleetwood Mac Just Announced An Australian Tour
The rumours are truemours.
Legendary rock band Fleetwood Mac are heading back to Australia with a four city tour in the second half of 2019.
The band will visit Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne starting in the second week of August. The lineup with look slightly different though, with recently axed guitarist Lindsey Buckingham replaced by Crowded House’s Neil Finn and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ Mike Campbell.
“We are thrilled to welcome the musical talents of the calibre of Mike Campbell and Neil Finn into the Mac family,” said the band in a statement. “With Mike and Neil, we’ll be performing all the hits that the fans love, plus we’ll be surprising our audiences with some tracks from our historic catalogue of songs.”
“Fleetwood Mac has always been a creative evolution. We look forward to honoring that spirit on this upcoming tour.”
