Not even Chance the Rapper could keep a straight face.
Singing the national anthem at a big sporting match probably isn’t easy: there are millions of people watching you, often the music fucks up, and sometimes you just forget the words. And even if all of that goes well, it can still turn into a nightmare.
Earlier today, former Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie delivered the national anthem at the annual NBA All-Star Game. But instead of bumbling through the usual orchestral version, she decided to give ‘Star Spangled Banner’ a bit of a bluesy facelift.
