‘The Feed’ Took The Piss Out Of Donald Trump’s Dumb CNN Tweet And Americans Are Shook

Earlier this week, President Trump tweeted a GIF of himself body slamming a man with the CNN for a head, and let’s all just take a minute to reflect on where we’re at now, as a species. Doesn’t feel great, does it?

Trump has since been accused by a number of media outlets of inciting violence against the press. On Monday night, CNN responded in person via an exclusive interview with SBS Viceland’s The Feed. Kind of.

“There are a lot of risks associated with a career in journalism,” said CNN, actually Mark Humphries. “I never thought being clotheslined by the President would be one of them, but there you go.”

CNN goes on to talk about the President’s sustained campaign of cyber harassment. “Donald Trump started calling me fake news,” he says. “Which was almost as painful as me having to call him President of the United States.”

“At the end of the day, I can take a punch,” he adds. “I’ve got a pixelated head. But a lot of journalists out there don’t.”

Humphries’ initial tweet featuring the video has since been retweeted more than 29,000 times, while the video itself has been picked up by a number of US media outlets. New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof  tweeted that it was “brilliant” and a “must watch.” It has also been shared by Occupy Democrats on Facebook, where it has been viewed more than 5.5 million times.
