And the rest of the line-up isn't bad, either.

Fairgrounds Festival 2019 line-up includes Liam Gallagher

Liam Gallagher is taking the lead slot at this year’s Fairgrounds Festival, fresh off the back of Glastonbury.

The former Oasis front-man will be joined on the line-up by the band’s spiritual successors, DMA’s, as well as Dope Lemon, Meg Mac and Kasey Chambers, who will perform album The Captain in full, as it celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.

Julia Jacklin, Brisbane dream-pop outfit Hatchie and US punk legends The Lemonheads are also locked-in, with the line-up rounded out with sets from The Babe Rainbow, Clews, The Lazy Eyes and more.

Fairgrounds returns to Berry in NSW’s South Coast on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 December.

Tickets are on sale 9am AEST Wednesday 28 August, with a pre-sale 9am Tuesday 27 August. The full line-up is below.
