Elon Musk is a multi-billionaire tech tycoon. He’s also very much a 14-year-old boy.

Musk may have more money than God, but he still has the tastes that you’d expect from an antic teenager who has just discovered how cool A Clockwork Orange is.

The tycoon loves Rick and Morty and extremely ‘dank’ memes. He smokes weed, but more than that, he assumes that smoking weed is the substitute for an entire personality. Oh, and he’s always talking like he’s just read skim-read the Wikipedia entry on Friedrich Nietzsche.

Everything about the man is proof, if any was needed, that money can’t buy you taste. Not even, as it turns out, good taste in dance moves. Earlier this week, while presenting at an esteemed press conference in Shanghai, the man shuffled and shimmied his way around the stage with all the grace of a hobbled donkey.

I mean, I guess you should watch it, but be forewarned: it’ll ruin your day.

Not that Elon Musk seems to think that there’s anything wrong with gyrating like a pensioner at a Sweet Sixteen — he reposted the video to his own Twitter page, so clearly he thinks what he did was at the very least acceptable.

Anyway, because Musk attracts memes like shit attracts flies, the awkward dance moves have become the subject of much online derision. More specifically, Twitter users have begun mashing up his moves with some classic songs, chiefly ‘Pyramids’, by the one and only Frank Ocean…

…’In The Air Tonight’ by Phil Collins…

…and two songs by his partner, the indie pop musician Grimes.

Speaking of Grimes, in fact, the musician has today revealed that she is pregnant with Musk’s baby. So, maybe the dad dance was all an elaborate way of telling the public that Elon had become, well, uh, a daddy?

Sure sounds like some Elon Musk bullshit to me.
