I might have originally been interested in Adelaide’s art scene because of its capacity to provide me cheap beer, but it’s the culture that keeps me coming back.
After at least ten years of standing in dark basements watching bands, swapping clothing with strangers at experimental dance parties and looking sidelong at visual art to try and catch a glimmer of meaning, Adelaide’s tight knit and eccentric art underground still holds my attention. And I get bored easily, so this stuff is definitely worth your time.
