A new remake of The Lion King is coming out pretty soon. You might have heard something about that.

Yep, the Disney nostalgia machine isn’t done cranking out CGI reboots of the films that made your childhood, not by a long shot. Hot on the heels of Guy Ritchie’s disastrous, exceedingly blue Aladdin and Tim Burton’s actually kinda underrated, creepy clown Dumbo, Jon “Swingers” Favreau has given his take on the story of the world’s most beloved royal lion family.

That is, as long as you’re willing to accept that remaking the whole movie pretty much shot for shot with somewhat unnervingly photorealistic animals is a “take”.

But not only does the forthcoming film have the nostalgia factor going for it, it also has a far more elusive and intoxicating drawcard — the appearance of one Beyoncé Knowles, playing the role of Nala.

That’s not the only jewel in the crown of the cast, mind you — you’ve also got Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, John Oliver, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Billy “On The Street” Eichner and James Earl Jones.

So yeah, basically the thing is packed, and is a few short months away from grossing the GNP of a small country. Indeed, in order to ensure that the film absolutely crushes every box office record imaginable, Disney have today dropped a small taste of exactly what audiences are after — a clip of Knowles and Glover as loved-up lions, singing a version of ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight’ to each other.

Truly the clip has it all: the biggest pop star on the planet, one of the other biggest pop stars on the planet, a song that everybody has been humming to themselves on and off for the last decade and a half, exceedingly cute animals, and wide, open vistas.

Yeah, this movie’s gonna be good even if it’s not good, hey?
