Everyone’s Trying To Feel Joy Again By Recreating That Iconic Fleetwood Mac Skateboarding Video
The vibes simply do not stop.
Last week, Nathan Apodaca had the whole internet vibing along with him when he uploaded a TikTok skateboarding to Fleetwood Mac while sipping on a giant bottle of cranberry juice.
Stood upon his skateboard and riding down the road after his car broke down, Apodaca was quickly dubbed the Vibe King for, well, the pure vibes he was radiating in the clip.
I don’t use this verbiage often but this is a whole vibe. simple as that pic.twitter.com/NfdLsgLkxu

With 22 million views on TikTok alone, it’s no surprise that ‘Dreams’ by Fleetwood Mac — the song Apodaca set his iconic skating video to — has skyrocketed back onto the charts.
According to Rolling Stone, there has been a 127 percent increase in streams for the track on Spotify and a 221 percent increase on Apple Music. In terms of sales, it’s reported that ‘Dreams’ also saw an 184 percent increase too. Simply put, everyone is now vibing with Fleetwood Mac again thanks to @420doggface208 and his skateboard riding and cranberry juice drinking.
When Apodaca’s video made its way to Twitter, Fleetwood Mac even tweeted about how much they loved the video from their official account. Then yesterday, Mick Fleetwood himself joined TikTok just to recreate Nathan Apodaca’s original video. The Fleetwood Mac frontman simply captioned his video: “@420doggface208 had it right. Dreams and Cranberry just hits different”.
In response, Apodaca called the recreation “so dope [and] blessed”, to which Mick Fleetwood suggested that once COVID-19 was over the pair should “create one together”.
But Mick Fleetwood isn’t the only person on TikTok dedicated to trying to capture just an ounce of the pure, carefree joy that Apodaca managed to. In fact, there have been countless recreations of Nathan Apodaca’s original skateboarding video as people try to catch the same vibe that @420doggface208 did — even if it was just once.
Between using giant margarita glasses instead of plastic bottles, swapping skateboards for train carts and Heelys, and eating tacos in place of sipping cranberry juice, everyone’s desperate to get on the same level as the Vibe King.
As it’s almost spooky season, some have even decided to combine two greatest joys in life to reach the peak of happiness as we know it: Halloween costumes and skateboarding to Fleetwood Mac.
Honestly, even if you don’t know how to skateboard or can’t multitask to save your life, Nathan Apodaca’s morning vibe is something we should all aspire to reach. So grab your preferred mode of transport and your drink of choice, and vibe on y’all, vibe on.
