BREAKING: Someone has leaked the entire Detective Pikachu movie to YouTube and it’s… not what we were expecting.

A Twitter user with the handle @InspectrPikachu tweeted a link to the video overnight, and honestly it looks pretty legit. There’s the Warner Brothers and Legendary Pictures logo, and even a watermark suggesting the copy belonged to leading man Ryan Reynolds. 

And then things take a turn.

Can’t believe we’ve been rickrolled by an animated yellow rodent. How embarrassing.

Detective Pikachu (the actual movie) is in cinemas today.
