From having to give Melbourne the sex talk to the whole coronavirus outbreak due to bungled hotel quarantine program thing, Premier Daniel Andrews has had a tough time recently.

In fact, Daniel Andrews has been gently roasted on TikTok ever since he placed Melbourne under Stage 4 lockdown, including skits about Andrews “watching” them as the navigate their new monitored way of life. Videos using the #DanAndrews hashtag have already amassed over 10 million views on TikTok.

In one TikTok, that asked people to comment “what Dan Andrews search history looks like“, the replies were full of cheeky digs at the Victorian Premier.

“Stage five lockdown restriction ideas” wrote one person. “Ending a pandemic quick tutorial,” commented another.

With other replies like “50 percent off security guards”, “how do I make the youth stop Tik Toking about me”, “cheap last minute flights to Hawaii”, “synonyms for we are in this together” and “North Face discount code”, it was clear that the jokes weren’t stopping any time soon.

So naturally one Aussie decided to take the piss-take attack against Daniel Andrews to the next level by actually transforming into the Premier through the power of make up.

Evelin Costa, a make up artist from Victoria, uploaded her eerily accurate transformation into Daniel Andrews onto TikTok last night – complete with a set of square-rimmed glasses drawn directly onto her face. The make up look was so convincing that the video managed to get 80,000 views in just 20 hours.

Calling the creation “the best thing [she’s] ever done”, Costa gave herself bigger nostrils, bushier eyebrows and changed her tooth shape with black marker to ensure she looked as much like the Premier as possible. To step up her impression, Costa even made sure to slip in Andrew’s favourite go-to line in her short video: “Is everyone right to go?”

The final result was so uncanny, that Costa decided to follow-up her original video by lip-syncing some of the Premier’s most notable phrases to complete her transformation.

Honestly, I don’t know whether to be impressed or scared. But this really is something.
