Can You Find Tony Abbott’s Missing Ladies? Where Are They?
What's happened to the ladies? Has anybody seen them? Can you please go and get them?
“Where are the women ladies, by the way?” is a question we’ve been asking of Tony Abbott for quite some time now. So it was a little surprising to hear the same question come out of the mouth of our Prime Minister and Minister for Women, while visiting Asia with his business delegation.
“There are some ladies in this delegation,” he declared proudly to a media gaggle, in a clip which aired on Insiders. Except he couldn’t find them. “Where are they? What’s happened to the ladies?”
“Josh, Sam, there are some lady members of the delegation, can you please go and get them? They were here,” he continued, searching frantically behind men for the pesky missing ladies.
“They’re probably doing business!” an old white man laughed, because what a funny thought that is.
“We’ve lost all our female members of the delegation for some reason,” Abbott finally conceded, somewhat defeated. “I don’t think we’re going to get them back somehow.”
