Friends, season six of Brooklyn Nine-Nine has a date and it’s January 10. New year, new you, new Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Remember the terrifying lows and thrilling highs when we thought Brooklyn Nine-Nine had been cancelled, and then it came back just days later even stronger than ever on NBC? That was a wild ride. Never before have I felt so many emotions — sadness, hope, tiredness, thankfulness, confusion, anger, gassy.

“Mike Schur, Dan Goor and Andy Samberg grew up on NBC and we’re all thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest, and best cast comedies in a long time will take its place in our comedy line-up,” said NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt at the time. “I speak for everyone at NBC, here’s to the Nine-Nine!”

But we can move past all that gassiness because season 6 is on the horizon! It’s a mild shame that it’s going to be a shorter season, but we’ll take anything.
