TOIGHT: The First New Footage Of ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Season 6 Just Dropped
After blowing our freakin’ minds with a super schmick trailer earlier this week, NBC has today dropped the first proper footage of the upcoming new season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
Monday’s trailer, a stylised action set piece that saw Andy Samberg’s Jake Peralta pretty much becoming his eternal idol John McClane, was most likely purely for promotional purposes but the new little montage takes us straight into season six proper.
Not to be dramatic, but this is going to be the best 95 seconds OF. YOUR. LIFE.#Brooklyn99 makes the leap to @NBC Thursday, January 10. pic.twitter.com/6J7qUusP7w

There are no real spoilers in the teaser despite season five ending on the low-key cliffhanger of Captain Holt’s unknown career future, however, there is one short moment of Holt in his usual Captain’s uniform meaning he may not have gotten that promotion to Police Commissioner after all.
Elsewhere it looks like Peralta and Boyle are heading out another stake-out mission, despite how poorly that went the last time, and we also get a glimpse at guest star Mario Lopez. Who you may know more as AC Slater from 90s gem Saved By The Bell — aka this spunk rat:
Ohhh, so this show is why I’m gay.
Watch the quickie little teaser below and get ready to belt out “NINE NINE!” once again, when season six hits NBC January 10 or airing locally on SBS Viceland January 11th.
