A day after being shitcanned by FoxBrooklyn Nine-Nine has been saved by rival network NBC, and oh my god, please stop playing with my emotions like this!

The joyous news was shared by the cast and crew via Twitter.

The news broke just hours after Variety reported that both Hulu and Netflix had passed on the series, which at the time seemed like the final nail in its coffin. Frankly, I’ve never been so happy to be wrong.

“Mike Schur, Dan Goor and Andy Samberg grew up on NBC and we’re all thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest, and best cast comedies in a long time will take its place in our comedy line-up,” said NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt. “I speak for everyone at NBC, here’s to the Nine-Nine!”

The new season will consist of 13 episodes, down from from 22 at Fox. But fuck it, I’ll take it! NINE NINE!!!
