Britney Spears has blessed her LGBTIQ+ fans with a short message for US Pride month which is at once incredibly sweet and confused, a mess of odd prepositions and heartfelt trailing-off thoughts. Naturally, it’s now a meme.

Spears posted the video across her social media channels, thanking all her friends “at the LBGT community” for some of the best nights of her life.

“Happy Pride Month!,” she says. “You guys bring so much heart, passion and articulate everything that you do. Because of you, I’ve had the best nights of my life. I love you so much that it hurts.”

A voice in the background, presumably her swole boyfriend Sam Asghari, interrupts to ask something, and then Spears yells back “BABY! Be quiet!” before making an exasperated face.

Those at the LGBT Community jumped on the odd wording, especially after writer Carey O’Donnell imagined he was working at the LGBT community call-centre. Others simply repeated exactly what Spears said back verbatim, as part of their articulation of everything they do.

In the past few months, Spears has revealed she accidentally burnt down her home gym with candles, and shared a socialist manifesto from artist Mimi Zhu on Instagram asking for the redistribution of wealth.

She also re-released (her quite good) 2016 album Glory with a new artwork and the song ‘Mood Ring’, a fan favourite that was previously only available on the Japanese edition.
