Britney Spears Has “No Idea” Who Pete Davidson Is, And Sorry To This Man

Britney Spears doesn’t know who Pete Davidson is. He could be walking down the street. She wouldn’t know a thing.
The legendary pop star recently made headlines for breaking free of a 13-year-conservatorship. But is there any freedom like knowing, and indeed having no interest in knowing, who Pete Davidson is? Unfortunately, we wouldn’t know.
In a since-deleted Instagram post, the star shared that she was amused by some Instagram antics of Pete Davidson and Scott Disick, who she simply referred to as “these people”.

“Sorry had to repost this,” Britney writes. “No idea who these people are but it made me laugh so hard !!!” The video in question saw Pete Davidson, who is currently dating Kim Kardashian, post about his “wild” Saturday night hanging out with Scott Disick. “Boyz night was wild,” read the caption, slapped across a photo of Disick and two other men dozing off in front of the TV.
Britney has sadly since deleted the iconic post, which we assume was a treatise on the art of living well and without regrets.
Because let’s be honest: why do people know who Pete Davidson or Scott Disick is? Why do any of us have that information? And is any of it serving us?
The answer is obviously no. The only reason we know Scott Disick is because of his relationship with Kourtney Kardashian. And while Pete Davidson’s claim to fame is a bit less grim — he started out as a comedian on Saturday Night Live in 2014 — he definitely wouldn’t achieve his current level of notoriety if it wasn’t for his relationships with high-profile women and the relentlessness of tabloid journalism.
Honestly, everything we know about Pete Davidson and Scott Disick has been against our will. So congrats to Britney for her obliviousness: we couldn’t be more envious.
