A Tasmanian woman has apologised for calling Labor leader Bill Shorten a prick, revealing that she only did so because she thought he was Scott Morrison. What a rollercoaster of emotion for old Bill.

Shorten was visiting Salamanca Market in Hobart on Saturday when he was confronted by local resident Sandi Fitzgerald. According to News Corp, Fitzgerald lashed out at Shorten before realising her mistake.

“I thought he was Scott Morrison,” she said.

Fitzgerald added that it was “fantastic” to meet Shorten and that she was definitely planning to vote for Shorten. Assuming she remembers who he is, I guess.

While in Tasmania, Shorten pledged $120 million to the state’s tourism industry, including $50 million for MONA.
