This is an Illuminati-level conspiracy.

The last five years have been absolutely massive for Beyoncé Knowles.

She changed the game with a surprise release of her self-titled album, reinvented yet again with 2016’s Lemonade, gave show-stealing performances at the Superbowl and Coachella and has kept up productivity with a collaborative LP with husband Jay-Z, The Carters’ Everything is Love.

In that same time period, Knowles’ former Destiny’s Child companion Kelly Rowland has…well, she was on The Voice! And she was at the Logies for some reason!

Anyway, the two have stayed friends in the years since Destiny’s Child split up, giving sporadic reunion performances and Knowles attending Rowland’s wedding back in 2014. Now, it’s rumoured that the two are working on their first new music together since 2005, following the appearance of an ominous Instagram account with ties back to Knowles and Rowland.

As reported by Complex, @roseivyou appeared two days ago with a ten-second video of a rose blossoming. It’s accompanied by some wordless singing and a giggle, both of which are widely believed to be Knowles. A second post followed a day later, which bore only the letters I.IV.

Hours ago, the account posted a third piece of content: a grainy picture of what appears to be a flame paired with a five-second video that sounds musically similar to that of the first clip posted. The video projects the word YOU before showing a shot of the same rose. In succession of one another, it’s Rose IV You – ie. rose for you.

So, how does this link back to Knowles and Rowland? Well, they are two of only five accounts that Rose IV You follows. The other three are Netflix, Tidal (which still holds the exclusive rights to Lemonade) and Nicki Minaj.

While neither Knowles or Rowland follow the account back — Knowles does not follow anyone on Instagram — recent posts by both suggests they’re linked.

Knowles’ most recent photo series starts with a shot of her and Rowland at the City Of Hope Spirit Of Life Gala in Los Angeles, where the two were also photographed with the likes of Usher and Pharrell Williams.

Over on Rowland’s Instagram, going back about six days will get you to a video of Rowland listening to a song in her car and mouthing along with the last line before it cuts off: “Rose petals on my feet.”

If that wasn’t enough, fans have also noted that the announcement of Everything is Love also came via a cryptic Instagram post that involved — you guessed it — a rose.

So, what does this all mean? Is Rowland planning a massive comeback? Is Beyoncé involved? Is Nicki involved? Will the album premiere in an hour-long Netflix special? Will we all have to set a reminder to cancel our fifth Tidal subscription before the trial period runs out in order to listen to whatever this is going to be?

We’ll have more on this Illuminati mess as soon as it comes to light.
