The last time Zach Galifianakis recorded an episode of Between Two Ferns, his guest was on the verge of becoming America’s first female president. Truly, it was a simpler time. Still, while a lot has changed since those halycon days, it’s nice to know that some things stay the same. Things like Galifianakis being an absolute prick.

In the belated new instalment of his Funny Or Die series, Galifianakis sat down with comedian Jerry Seinfeld — although not before castigating his producers for failing to secure “a legitimate guest”.

“It’s like I Love the Nineties,” he mutters angrily. “We might as well have Lorena Bobbitt.”

After mistakenly introducing Seinfeld as convicted child molester Jerry Sandusky, Galifianakis proceeds to ridicule him for his work on Bee Movie and Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, before eventually bumping him for rapper Cardi B.

“I’m special,” Cardi B tells Seinfeld.

“You are special,” agrees Galifianakis. “But the most important thing is that you’re relevant.”
