Today is Betty White’s 93rd birthday, meaning she has officially spent one more year on this earth being an absolute champion. Though she’s best known for her sassy old lady vibes on The Golden Girls and novelty hosting gigs — here she is on SNL — you may not know that White was actually one of the first female producers in the industry. After 66 years in television, she now holds the Guinness World Record for the longest TV career for a female entertainer, and still rocks it on the US sitcom scene saying pretty much whatever the fuck she wants.
To celebrate her top notch life of being excellent, drinking vodka, and loving animals, her friends in the cast of Hot In Cleveland — a show which I have no desire of ever watching — threw her a Hawaiian-themed surprise dance party and it was just all kinds of lovely.
