A couple of weeks back, Spotify unveiled their annual Songs of Summer ranking, with Drake’s ‘In My Feelings’ comfortably taking out the top spot.

It’s now Australia’s turn to get in on the action: the streaming giant has now exclusively gifted Music Junkee with Australia’s Top 30 songs of the winter period — that’s June 1 to August 31, if you were wondering when winter was. And amazingly, an Australia act has come out on top.

Sydney exports 5 Seconds of Summer have landed at #1 with their single ‘Youngblood’, taken from their latest album of the same name. Drake’s ‘In My Feelings’ comes in at #2, while Post Malone’s ‘Better Now’ rounds out the top three.

The rest of the top 10 features entries from Maroon 5, pop upstart Billie Eilish, and English singer Anne-Marie.

Three more Australians make it into the top 30: Dean Lewis lands at #6 with his single ‘Be Alright’, Canbera’s Peking Duk come in at #20 with ‘Fire’, and Sydney selector Hayden James sneaks in at #28.

Australia’s ranking is pretty close to the global list in terms of which songs make the cut, but there is a fair bit of movement in where those songs place. Cardi B’s ‘I Like It’, for example, landed at #1 in the global rankings, but only came in at #21 here.
