Make everyday epic with the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

Do you ever see grainy photos pop up in your social feed and wonder why the hell 2012 you decided to share a blurry photo of your risotto? The quality of what we all share online has progressed to the point where everyone on TikTok and Instagram looks like they’ve got some slick and expensive camera set-up.

But at the end of the day, if you want to make good content, all you need is a quality phone. Take, for example, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. It has everything budding creatives – and even just IG Story enthusiasts – need to shoot, snap and TikTok ‘til their heart’s content.

The camera has a Director’s View, which lets you shoot video with front and back cameras at the same time for a more cinematic experience, so you can capture and react at the same time.

Gone are the days of crappy phone footage – the S21 can record 4K video at 60fps or can switch to 8K to make your video even crisper*.

So, you’ve got the equipment side of things covered. Now you just need some inspiration. Here are our favourite Aussie creators who are making waves online.

Darcy Stokes

Darcy is an Aussie musician with a soothing voice whose videos are the perfect ~vibes addition~ to your feed. She shares her original music – which is great – along with funny memes and covers. Recently she covered “Good 4 U” in the style of Fleetwood Mac and we’re low-key obsessed.

Selene Cueto

When they’re done right, TikTok transitions can be mesmerising. And guys, no one is doing it like Selene. The 18-year-old’s videos are seriously astonishing, you need to watch them five times to process everything that’s going on. Everything is done on her phone, through the TikTok app, and it’s probably some of the most impressive stuff we’ve seen on social media ever. She posts tutorials as well, if you want to give it a crack.

Sha’an d’Anthes

Sha’an is an illustrator whose Instagram grid is filled with cute-as-hell drawings that’ll liven up your feed. Her YouTube channel is also a delight, with behind-the-scenes studio vlogs and a look at how her artwork is created. She even uses her Galaxy Note20 as an on-the-go sketchbook so she can create anywhere without needing to bring anything but the phone in her pocket.

Louis Hanson

Louis is killing the TikTok and Reels games at the moment. His content is hilarious and fresh, and the kind of thing you want to DM to your group chat the minute you see it. While all his videos are pure comedy gold, we’ve got a special place in our hearts for his iconic lip-syncs – he does an incredible Corey Worthington.

Gab Scanu

International travel has been off the cards for a while, and we’re all getting itchy feet while planning our next big extravagant holiday. Gab’s content will give you some serious wanderlust. He’s a photographer with an incredible eye for detail, just one scroll through his page will have you mentally adding to your travel bucket list. He’s recently leaned into short-form video, giving us an interesting look behind the scenes of his photography.

Matthew Vandeputte

Matthew is obsessed with clouds. The majority of his social presence is him timelapsing ominous and beautiful landscapes and storm clouds, making for a visually striking Insta feed that will take you into an time-warping rabbit hole. Again, he takes us behind the scenes of his creations, sharing filming and editing tutorials for anyone who’s also into photography –– even if it’s just with your phone!

Ayeh Far

Remember earlier this year when that viral hack for folding tortilla wraps went viral on basically every social platform? Well, we have Ayeh to thank for that. Her initial videos got nearly 100 million views combined, which only inspired her to create more and more delicious food content. From easy homemade Laksa to the pesto eggs trend, every week she shares a ton of new recipes to try out. And her energy is just so infectious, you can’t help but grin.

Not only are her outfit pics great, but she’s truly the queen of transitions when it comes to fashion Reels. Her upbeat videos will have you colour blocking your outfits in no time.
