Ariana Grande Heads To The White House In Her New Single ‘Positions’
It's the first look at her highly anticipated new album.
After teasing fans with a gigantic countdown clock on her website for the last week, Ariana Grande has finally released her new single ‘Positions’.
The song is Grande’s first since she released her Justin Bieber collab ‘Stuck With U’, and the epic ‘Rain On Me’ with Lady Gaga, back in May. It’s also the first look at her highly anticipated new album, the follow-up to 2019’s thank u, next. Read our review of thank u, next over here.
The track isn’t a massive departure for Grande — rather, it slots quite neatly into the R&B inflected pop she’s explored over her career, from Sweetener and thank u, next and even back to earlier releases like My Everything. The video, meanwhile, places her in the White House, surrounded by high-powered female execs as she struts the halls and swishes a pen behind the Resolute Desk.
Watch the full video below. The full album is set to land later this month on October 30, which is the date listed on the countdown clock.
