Adele will tour Australia for the first time in her decade-long career. The Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter will visit our shores in February and March next year, after making the announcement via a handwritten note on social media.

“G’day, it’s me,” she wrote, referencing the lyrics to her hit song ‘Hello’. “I was wondering if after 10 years in the game you’d finally like to meet me in: Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide? Yep! I am coming down under.”

According to Live Nation, Adele will perform in “a series of special stadium concerts in a unique 360º in-the-round production.” The tour kicks off in Perth in late February. Tickets go on sale on Monday November 21 at 10am local time in Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, 12pm local time in Sydney, and 2pm local time in Adelaide.
