Zach Braff Said That ‘Scrubs’ Might Be Coming Back; This Is Getting Ridiculous Now

You’ve got your new Gilmore Girls. You got your new X-Files. Goddamn, you even got more Full House (and regretted that you ever wanted it, probably).

Now Zach Braff is trying to float the idea that a Scrubs revival is something that the world needs. Don’t get me wrong — I loved Scrubs when it was on, and anytime I saw JD and Turk hanging out on Instagram or conversing on Twitter, I always got a little thrill. But do I ever sit around and think, ‘Oh, I wonder if JD and Elliott end up together in 2016’? Nope, never.

During a Twitter Q&A, Zach Braff fanned the revival flames by saying that a Scrubs reunion is “something we all talk about”.

“Especially now that all these people are going back and doing Netflix versions of their shows. I’m very jealous of all this Gilmore Girls attention, and Full House, so we talk about it every now and then,” he said.  “So you never know. It could happen. I’d do it.”

So basically, Scrubs could come back just because Zach Braff is jealous that everyone is talking about Gilmore Girls. (By the way, you may bleat: “That means nothing!” but literally, throwaway comments like this are always what ends up putting the revival wheels in motion.) 2016, hey?
