And The Winner Of The Hottest 100 Of 2016 Is…

It’s been Australian music’s day of days, with veritable cultural institution triple j conducting the biggest democratically-decided musical countdown in the world.

Yesterday, we found out that the countdown would contain 66 Australian songs in the countdown this year (the most ever), there are 23 artists making their Hottest 100 debut, 26 artists who were discovered on Unearthed, and there are songs from 13 countries across the ranking.

And now, we know the winner.

After a big 2016, Flume has claimed the number one spot for ‘Never Be Like You’. The track beat out Amy Shark’s ‘Adore’. The top five is rounded out by
