From Jay-Z trying turning streaming services into a musicians’ super-cult to the death of mega festivals like Big Day Out, Stereosonic and Soundwave — there’s no doubt the music industry is in a state of transition. Over the past few months we’ve seen a rise of boutique events and the closure of venues across Sydney following the implementation of lockout laws in 2014. So, where do we go from here?

To find out, we want to hear your thoughts. To understand where the Australian music market is headed in 2016, we’re conducting a huge research survey touching on everything from where you party to what you listen to and how you get your music.

What streaming services do you use? Do you pirate music? How much money do you spend going out? Let us know and you can help shape the future of music in Australia — plus one lucky survey respondent will pick up a cool $500 prize for being involved.

Head here to have your say.

This is the time. This is the day that we’ve been waiting for. All the world will stop to watch you shine.
