Western Bulldogs Forward Jake Stringer Apparently Lost His Dog The Night Before The Grand Final
Not a great omen for doggies fans.
In what looms as a potential bad omen for Western Bulldogs supporters ahead of this afternoon’s AFL grand final, Doggies forward Jake Stringer apparently spent the night before the biggest game of his life searching for his lost dog.

According to 3AW’s Ross Stevenson, the pooch went missing in the western suburbs of Melbourne yesterday evening. Stringer’s family apparently put the word out on Facebook, and were reunited with their pet this morning after it was taken to a lost dogs home via the Point Cook veterinary clinic.
Of course, Bulldogs fans probably shouldn’t read too much into all this. Then again, given that it’s been more than six decades since they last took home a flag, you could forgive them for being a little superstitious.
