Watch Ryan Reynolds Go Full “Postmodern Asshole” In The First Teaser For ‘Deadpool’
"Get ready to blow out your collective sphincters."
Last month, huge franchises like The Hunger Games and epic blockbusters like Batman v. Superman all took their chance to build hype at San Diego Comic-Con. From this we saw trailers, teaser trailers, teasers to those teasers, and in some cases, “motion poster” teasers to those teasers which prove just how cruel and unusual the world really is.
Now we have our first glimpse at Ryan Reynolds as a self-described “postmodern asshole” in his much-anticipated X-Men Origins spinoff Deadpool. In characteristic Deadpool style, it looks set to perfectly skewer the whole shitty business.
The full trailer — which also had an exclusive screening at Comic-Con — will premiere tonight on Conan and it sounds like there’s a lot to look forward to. As one of the few R-rated films in its genre, IGN reports hat the trailer features impressive hyper-violence, at least one exploding head, and a huge array of creative insults and profanities. At one point Colossus is called a “big chrome c***-gobbler” and someone is told they look like “an avocado fucked an older avocado”.
