If you were in any doubt as to exactly how good Berry was, check out the following clip of him rehearsing his song ‘Carol’ with Keith Richards from the 1987 concert film Hail! Hail! Rock ‘n’ Roll. After bickering for several minutes over the way the Rolling Stones guitarist was playing the opening riff, Berry decides to jump in himself and proceeds to take Richards to school.
