Because the Fox network is a cruel mistress, we are only getting teasers of the upcoming The X-Files revival in ten second increments.
The good news is, the new footage — which was released overnight — actually has dialogue in it! Between Mulder and Scully, no less.
Things that are confirmed: people with flashlights are looking for something; Someone is dragging something/someone and is leaving a nasty stain on the floor; Scully literally has no idea whether or not there is a choice.
If you think that you’re excited, you are probably not as excited as Silicon Valley‘s Kumail Nanjiani, whose obsessive podcast The X-Files Files seems to have gotten him a spot on the show. (He also said on Twitter, “the script was wonderful“).
