Watch A Brand New Short Trailer For ‘Better Call Saul’
The Breaking Bad spin-off we've all been waiting for.
You’ll notice that any bit of promo you see ahead of the release of AMC’s Breaking Bad series, Better Call Saul, comes with a small disclaimer somewhere in the text: ‘Remember’, someone will write: ‘This is a drama.’
The show, which centres around Breaking Bad’s comic relief character, the sleazy lawyer Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk), is framed as a prequel to Breaking Bad: it’s set in 2o02, back when Saul went by the name of James M. McGill, “a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny”.
“It’s total drama, man,” Odenkirk said in an October interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s 85 percent drama, 15 percent comedy.” And it’s already been renewed for a second series.
Better Call Saul premieres in America on February 9.
