This Video Of Shia LaBeouf Taking On A White Supremacist Is The Perfect Antidote To Trump’s BS

Fuck yeah, Shia LaBeouf.

This week the Even Stevens actor (yeah I went that far back) announced a new performance art project called “HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US”. The work consists of a livestream recording outside the New York’s Museum of the Moving Image, providing a focal point for anti-Trump protesters. The stream will run 24 hours a day for the next four years — the entire length of Donald Trump’s presidential term.

Passerby’s are being encouraged to “deliver the words “HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US”… repeating the phrase as many times, and for as long as they wish.”

According to the project’s website: “In this way, the mantra… acts as a show of resistance or insistence, opposition or optimism, guided by the spirit of each individual participant and the community.”

The work has attracted anti-Trump protesters keen to amplify LaBeouf’s message, but it’s also become the target of Pepe-loving losers from 4chan:

Earlier today a white supremacist walked in front of the camera and said “14 88”, a reference to both Hitler and notorious KKK member David Lane, who formed a terrorist organisation known as The Order.

As the man attempts to speak into the camera again, LaBeouf approaches him and shouts “He will not divide us!”. LaBeouf continues to shout the mantra louder and louder for nearly a minute, until the man flees the scene.

No doubt the livestream will continue to attract more idiot Nazis, but it looks like LaBeouf and his crew have figured out how to shut them down.
