Twin Peaks Casts Michael Cera, Sky Ferreira And Brings Back A Bunch Of Old (Dead) Characters
In true David Lynch style, the cast list for the Twin Peaks revival is very confusing.
David Lynch’s Twin Peaks revival is set to premiere on Stan sometime in 2017, and today we’re one step closer to figuring out what the hell this thing is going to look like. Well, sort of.
A cast list for the revival has just been released, which reveals that 37 actors from the original series are coming back, including characters who were previously thought to be dead. But because this is Twin Peaks, death is of no consequence and lest we forget, this is also a universe that features evil demons. Among the returning cast members are Kyle MacLachlan (Special Agent Dale Cooper), Sherilyn Fenn (Audrey Horne), Sheryl Lee (Laura Palmer), Ray Wise (Leland Palmer), and David Duchovny (DEA Agent Dennis).
Of course, there are still some notable exceptions.

Some notable famouses to also appear on the list include: Laura Dern, Ashley Judd, Naomi Watts, Jim Belushi, Trent Reznor, Eddie Vedder, Monica Bellucci, Tim Roth, Michael Cera, Sky Ferreira, Peter Sarsgaard, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Amanda Seyfried. Hopefully the casting of so many musicians means we’ll get some top notch live performances, perhaps at Ben Horne’s the Great Northern hotel, where everyone likes to party!
Meanwhile, Sky Ferreira would nail a cover of ‘Falling’.
It’s been previously reported that the revival may actually end up being two seasons, but now that the 217-strong cast list has been announced we should start hearing some more concrete facts about the project.
